This certificate provides the student with a choice to focus on hospitality or tourism. Through the selection of electives, students can tailor the curriculum to meet individual needs. The core classes provide students skills in customer service, marketing, and global attraction information to create a strong foundation to begin a career in the hospitality and tourism industry.
+Math Elective - must be selected from the AAS Core Options for Mathematics.
++Travel Management Elective - must be selected from the list below:
*TRVM 1300 is recommended for students focusing on a career in tourism; HAMG 1321 is recommended for students focusing on a career in hospitality.
NOTE: Students enrolling in this program who plan to transfer to a four-year institution should consult an advisor or counselor regarding transfer requirements and the transferability of these courses to the four-year institution of their choice.
