- Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
- Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.

This Insurance Customer Service Representative certificate program will prepare students for entry-level employment in insurance customer service. Emphasis will be on the foundations of sales and maintaining customer relationships as well as managing the technical requirements of selling and navigating insurance policies.
In addition, this credential, developed in partnership with State Farm (as a Corporate Fellow Partner), will be provided as an alternative education opportunity for current State Farm employees to receive credit for knowledge they have gained on the job. This knowledge includes industry credentials such as their Property and Casualty license or AINS certification and alternative examinations and assessment.
