REAL ESTATE

(Associate in Applied Sciences Degree)

Cedar Valley and North Lake only

  • Students pursuing this award program are required to meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards and course prerequisites.
  • Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by the college awarding the degree.

The program in real estate is designed to develop the fundamental skills, attitudes and experiences which enable the student to function in decision-making positions in the real estate profession. Successful completion of the program leads to the Associate in Applied Sciences Degree and may be applied toward licensing requirements as determined by the Texas Real Estate Commission.

  • Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
  • Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by the college awarding the degree.

This certificate program develops the basic skills for a real estate salesperson. All six courses are required by the Texas Real Estate Commission for Licensure.
