Forensic Accounting in Family Law
This is a Local Need Course.
Prerequisite: ACNT 1305 and ACNT 1371 or ACNT 1375.
Course Description: Comprehensive presentation of common financial challenges and problems found in divorce engagements. Course will cover community property, separate property, and management of family law case, tracing, business valuation and division of property. This course is for students who possess a Bachelor’s degree and is part of the Certificate in Professional Accountancy. It may qualify as a business-related course for the uniform Texas CPA exam. (3 Lec.)
