Introduction to Health Care Concepts
This is a Local Need Course.
Course Description: An introduction to concept-based learning with emphasis on selected pathophysiological concepts with nursing applications. Concepts include acid-base balance, elimination, fluid and electrolytes, genetics, immunity, infection, inflammation, gas exchange, perfusion, and tissue integrity. Licensing/certification Agency: Texas Board of Nursing (BON). (1 Lec.)
