Academic Advising Services
Due to COVID-19 status, visit https://www.dallascollege.edu/services/pages/default.aspx
Dallas College offers valuable resources in Academic Advising to help students achieve their educational goals. All first-time students are required to meet with an advisor.
Academic advisors assist students in selecting career pathways, Programs of Study, the transferability of courses, setting up an educational plan, changing careers, and gaining self-sufficiency.
Working with academic advisors, students will demonstrate the application of using college resources to accomplish student goals. Also, students will be able to use critical thinking skills to achieve their educational goals.
To help you stay on track, download the Navigate mobile app. Navigate serves as your 24/7 personal advisor from the time you enroll at Dallas College and all the way to your graduation.
Dallas College also plans events especially for students who plan to transfer. These activities may include College Fairs where officials from universities visit on campus to talk directly with you, special transfer workshops and seminars, and events designed to assist students in making career decisions. Many other materials are available to help you if you plan to transfer, including Transfer Pathways.
