- Students pursuing this award program are required to meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards and course prerequisites.
- Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.

This program is designed to train students to meet employment requirements in the field of air conditioning. This will include the installation, repair and maintenance of common air conditioning equipment. Included in this program is the study of residential and commercial air conditioners, heat pumps, gas and electric furnaces, humidifiers, and system design and selection. Throughout the entire program, an emphasis is placed on current techniques used by service technicians.
