- Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
- Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.

This is a Level I Certificate Program in entrepreneurship that provides students with business concepts specific to the principles of entrepreneurship. This includes starting, financing, operating, and growing a business. The program covers essential management, decision-making and problem-solving skills, preparing a business plan/business model canvas, accounting, financial needs, staffing, marketing strategies, and legal issues. Students will participate in a practicum (or field experience) to provide networking and business support opportunities.
