- Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
- Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.

This certificate is designed to provide entry-level tech support skills needed to assist customers, clients, or members of a firm or organization. Graduates field telephone calls and email messages from customers seeking guidance on technical problems. They diagnose the problem patiently and walk the customer through the problem-solving steps. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are needed.
Course(s) may be substituted for POFI 1301 for those who demonstrate current computer literacy.
