Title: Logistics Distribution Technician Certificate

Cedar Valley and North Lake campus only

  • Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.

The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program is an industry certification program designed to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to enter into the growing fields of logistics, advanced manufacturing, transportation, and warehousing. Students will demonstrate skills in overall logistics processes and procedures used in operations, warehousing, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and more from material point of origin (POO) to point of sale (POS) to the hands of the consumer. Upon successful certificate completion, students will be prepared to earn the nationally recognized Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) logistic certification: Certified Logistic Associate (CLA).
