- Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
- Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.
This program introduces students to fixtures, piping, and safety principles necessary to begin in the plumbing career as a plumber's helper. Commonly used tools and instruments are introduced and work safety is emphasized. The preferred program alternative is for each student to experience a cooperative work experience at the program's culmination.
