Few careers provide for the opportunity to leave a legacy. Construction Management lets you say, "I built that!" Foremen provide leadership to the project often from initial concept to completion.
Residential construction foremen work in all phases of the construction business with both public and private owners. Whatever the project, foremen keep the project on track and within budget. Working closely with architects, engineers, owners, and the various contractors on a job; the construction foreman's duties are varied, challenging and rewarding both emotionally and financially. Optionally, graduates can go into estimating, field engineering, project scheduling and other management levels both at the general contractor level and for specialty contractors such as mechanical, plumbing, and electrical contractors.
Fully accredited by the American Council for Construction Education, North Lake's Construction Management graduates are in demand in Texas with employment prospects throughout the country. Further educational opportunities allow program graduates to seek the AAS degree and both Bachelor and Master's degrees in the field.
