Certificate Program Requirements

Certificates are awards within the Career and Technical Program offerings and are designed to meet the needs of industry. In order to be awarded a certificate, students must complete all program course requirements with a grade point average of 2.00 ("C") or better. Only the grades for the specific courses required in the certificate program will be used in calculating the GPA to determine eligibility for awarding the certificate.

Some certificate programs do not require students to meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards; however, enrollment in courses outside of the selected certificate that require meeting TSI standards automatically removes the TSI waived status that has been granted.
