- Students pursuing this award program are required to meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards and course prerequisites.

The Cloud Computing Associate Degree provides education and training for individuals interested in developing the knowledge, skills, and concepts necessary to serve as a cloud support technician that are vital for any organization.
Upon completion of the program, students will develop the fundamental skills necessary to support and manage infrastructure and workloads on cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. The Cloud Computing Associate Degree includes course work in key areas: Introduction to computers, fundamentals of cloud computing, cloud deployment and infrastructure management, cloud database technologies, cloud networking and security, server support concepts, Linux, and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell. Fundamentals of Cloud, Security, and Networking technologies are stressed with a focus on implementation and support skills.
The unique opportunity also provides preparatory training for a variety of industry recognized certification exams. Credit may be earned, and course substitutions are permitted for those who have acquired vendor certifications related to courses listed in the degree.

The Cloud System Operations Associate Degree Program provides education and training for individuals interested in developing the knowledge, skills, and concepts necessary to serve as a cloud engineering professional.
Upon completion of the program, students will develop the fundamental skills necessary to deploy and manage application workloads on cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Topics include scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, cloud storage, database technologies, cloud networking, and security concepts. Additionally, advanced operational concepts, serverless computing, cloud infrastructure automation, containerization, and the orchestration of containerized application workloads such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR).
