Emergency Assistance
Due to COVID-19 status, visit https://www.dallascollege.edu/pc/fa/fa-news/pages/covid-19.aspx
Dallas College has limited funds available for short-term loan emergency funding to meet urgent needs of students to pay for tuition or books. Emergency Short-Term Loans are not available to meet other needs such as housing or transportation. Emergency Short-Term Loans are a one-time award and are usually limited in amount; bear no interest; and must be repaid within 60 days of the term. To qualify, applicants must be making satisfactory academic progress (as defined by the college); enrolled in at least 6 credit hours; and not have any balances or blocks on their college record.
In addition, Dallas College has an Emergency Aid program established to assist students with sudden, unforeseen financial emergencies. Students can apply for emergency funds using the mobile app or website. Download the Edquity app or go to the Edquity website.
Edquity first reviews student eligibility for emergency aid from the Dallas College Foundation. Then Dallas College reviews eligibility for emergency aid from the CARES Act. If you qualify, you will receive cash grant assistance within 48 hours.
