- Students pursuing this award program are required to meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards and course prerequisites.
- Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.

Admission to the Advanced Technical Certificate Program is by completion of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Interior Design and by portfolio examination. The full-time faculty will review all portfolios.

Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all INDS courses in the Advanced Technical Certificate Program in order to receive the Advanced Technical Certificate.
