Study Abroad Programs

An important part of the commitment of Dallas College to enhancing student appreciation and understanding of diverse cultures is its field course and study abroad programs. Therefore, any program offered by Dallas College is open to all students. These programs are available in a variety of countries during fall and spring semesters and in the summer and are available to students of this college. Semester-length programs are currently available through independent study aboard programs. In most programs, no prior knowledge of a foreign language is required.

Two of our campuses also offer study-abroad opportunities during the summer sessions. Campus faculty teach these courses, which normally last two to four weeks. In previous years, these courses have been offered in Ecquador, Hawaii, and Spain. For information about any of the semester or summer programs, contact the Global Education and Engagement Office at 214-378-1762 or contact the study abroad advisor at your campus. Visit the Global Education and Engagement Office at https://www.dcccd.edu/services/global-education/pages/default.aspx or contact the District Office Study Abroad Programs at studyabroad@dcccd.edu.
