The colleges of the Dallas County Community College District have limited funds available for short-term emergency funding to meet emergency needs of students to pay for tuition or books. Emergency Short-term funding is not available to meet other needs such as housing or transportation. Emergency funding are one-time award and are usually limited in amount; bear no interest; and must be repaid within 60 days of the term. To qualify, applicants must be making satisfactory academic progress (as defined by the college); enrolled in at least 6 credit hours; and not have any balances or blocks on their college record.
