RUSS 1412 (4 Credit Hours)
Offered at BHC, RLC Beginning Russian II This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a Core Curriculum course selected by the colleges of DCCCD. Prerequisite: (Required) RUSS 1411 or the equivalent or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor. Course Description: This is the second semester of academic transfer Russian. This course continues the oral practice, reading, writing, grammar and cultural studies begun in RUSS 1411. Students are expected to acquire a substantial amount of vocabulary and begin to deal with idiomatic language and more advanced syntax. This course is cross-listed as RUSS 1312 which is used only in Study Abroad programs. Students may register for either RUSS 1412 or RUSS 1312 but may receive credit for only one of the two.
