EMSP 2237 (2 Credit Hours)
Offered at BHC Emergency Procedures This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: (Required) (Recommended) Current BCLS (CPR) certificate. Current BCLS (CPR) certification by the American Heart Association or equivalent. Corequisite/Concurrent: Students will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background search and a drug screen as prescribed by the program and college. Failure to comply will result in the student being dropped from all EMSP courses. Course Description: Instruction in a laboratory environment concentrating on practical medical skills and critical thinking abilities. Topics include a variety of skills appropriate to the student's training level. Required verifications of specific skills may be included. This course is cross-listed as EMSP 2137. The student may register for either EMSP 2237 or EMSP 2137 but may receive credit for only one of the two.
