EMSP 1305 (3 Credit Hours)
Offered at BHC Emergency Care Attendant This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite Required: (1) Admission into the Emergency Medical Services Program, (2) Current BCLS (CPR) certification by the American Heart Association or equivalent. Course Description: The course covers the knowledge and skills for basic emergency medical care. Emphasis is on requirements of nation and state accrediting agencies. Preparation for certification as an Emergency Care Attendant (ECA)/Emergency Medical Responder (EMR).
