Offered at BHC, EFC, MVC, NLC, RLC World Dance This is a Texas Common Course Number. Course Description: Instruction in dance form from at least three major cultures. Cultural origins, significance and motivation, as well as the use of costumes will be explored.A survey of dances from different cultures, their histories, and their influences on contemporary dance and society. Cultural origins, significance, motivations and techniques will be explored experientially. (3 Lec., 1 Lab.)
