Offered at RLC Introduction to Cyber Crime This is a Local Need Course. Prerequisite Recommended: ITDF 1300 or instructor approval. Course Description: An examination of the history of cyber crime and techniques and strategies for investigating computer crime will be the focus of this course. Emphasis is placed on identifying cyber crime activity and applying the concepts, theories and laws of computer crime to the conduct of investigations. (3 Lec.) |

Offered at RLC Internship for Digital Forensics This is a Local Need Course. Prerequisite: Students might be required to pass a criminal background check before beginning internship. Course Description: This course provides experience in digital forensics in either the public or private sector. Emphasis is placed on student involvement with business or government agencies dealing with digital forensic analysis or investigation. Upon completion, students should be able to successfully analyze a real-world computer forensic operation and convey the results to the client in written and verbal form.
