Offered at BHC, CVC, EFC, ECC, MVC, NLC, RLC Principles of Macroeconomics This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a Core Curriculum course selected by the colleges of the DCCCD. Prerequisite Required: College level ready in Reading. Course Description: An introduction to principles of macroeconomics is presented. Economic principles are studied within the historical framework of classical, Keynesian, monetarist and alternative models. Emphasis is given to national income determination, money and banking, and the role of monetary and fiscal policy in economic stabilization and growth.
