Verification of enrollment requests will be processed as outlined within the directory information section of FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act). FERPA provides students the right to have some control over the disclosure of information from educational records. Verification of enrollment cannot be processed until after the 12th class day for the Fall and Spring semesters and after the 4th class day for the Summer sessions.
Richland College authorizes The National Student Clearinghouse to provide enrollment and degree verifications. To request enrollment and degree verifications, students may print official enrollment verification certifications on demand via our secure student portal, www.degreeverify.org. The college also processes enrollment or degree certification requests.
