The Associate Degree Nursing Program is a two-year, 60 credit hour program, leading to the Associate in Applied Sciences Degree. The program prepares graduates to be eligible to write the NCLEX-RN Examination to become licensed as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in Texas. The program combines classroom and skills laboratory experience with hospital clinical experience.
This will award the student 60 total credit hours for the program.
The program offered at North Lake is under the administration and accreditation of the El Centro College Associate Degree Nursing program. Students will attend classes at North Lake, but receive their degrees from El Centro.
