Computer Programming
This is a Texas Common Course Number.
Prerequisite Required: COSC 1315 or COSC 1415 or equivalent. College level ready in Mathematics and Reading.
Course Description: Introduction to computer programming in various programming languages. Emphasis on the fundamentals of structured design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation. Includes coverage of language syntax, data and file structures, input/output devices, and disks/files. COSC 1430 will satisfy the Associate in Sciences degree general elective requirement. This course will fullfill degree requirements established by the colleges of DCCCD only if this course has been successfully completed and the date of completion does not exceed 10 years. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
