Course Description: Cardiac embryology, fetal circulation and cardiac congenital disease including anomalies of cardiac position, venous return, A-V valves, atria and ventricles. Emphasis placed on defect anatomy and hemodynamic consequences and the surgical repair or other treatment option associated with each anomaly. Echocardiographic imaging in the pre and post-surgical patient will be covered. (3 Lec.)
