ANTH 2401 (4 Credit Hours)

Physical Anthropology
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a Core Curriculum course selected by the colleges of DCCCD.
Prerequisite Required: College level ready in Reading.
Course Description: The study of human origins and bio-cultural adaptations. Topics may include primatology, genetics, human variation, forensics, health, and ethics in the discipline. The laboratory-based course includes demonstrations of the major principles of the lecture course. This lecture and lab course should combine all of the elements of ANTH 2301 Physical Anthropology (lecture) and ANTH 2101 Physical Anthropology (lab), including the learning outcomes listed for both courses. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
