Differential Equations
This is a Texas Common Course Number.
Prerequisite: MATH 2414 or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor.
Course Description: This course is a study of ordinary differential equations, including linear equations, systems of equations, equations with variable coefficients, existence and uniqueness of solutions, series solutions, singular points, transform methods, boundary value problems, and applications. This course is cross-listed as MATH 2320. The student may register for either MATH 2320 or MATH 2420 but may receive credit for only one of the two. (4 Lec.)
