Philosophy of Religion
This is a Texas Common course Number. This is a Core Curriculum course selected by the colleges of DCCCD.
Prerequisite Required: One of the following must be met: (1) DREA 0093 or (2) English as a Second Language (ESOL) 0044 or (3) have met the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standard in Reading. College level ready in Reading.
Course Description: A study of the major issues in the philosophy and experience of religion. Topics may include the existence and nature of God, the relationships between faith and reason, the nature of religious language, religious experience, and the problem of evil. Emphasis may vary from semester to semester. (3 Lec.)
