Prerequisite Required: COSC 1415 or COSC 1436.
Corequisite/Concurrent: ENGR 2110.
Course Description: Introduction to hardware structures and assembly-language concepts that form the basis of the design of modern computer systems. Internal data representation and arithmetic operations in a computer. Basic logic circuits. MIPS assembly language. Overview of PC architecture. (3 Lec.)
