Continuing Education Units

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are transcripted upon successful completion of all requirements, competencies and learning outcomes for approved workforce education courses. As prescribed by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), one CEU is equal to 10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education or extension experience. The CEU is a means of recording and accounting for continuing education activities and meeting the mandatory certification requirements of certain professional organizations.
