  • Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
  • Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by the college awarding the degree.

This one-year certificate option focuses on server side development of basic skills and knowledge using SQL Server, ASP.NET, SharePoint, and PHP applications on IBM i Systems. Graduates will be qualified to enter the business environment as an entry-level applications developer assistant.

Course(s) may be substituted for ITSC 1401, BCIS 1405, or COSC 1401 for those who demonstrate current computer literacy.
