This specialized program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment as Automotive technicians in Toyota/Lexus dealership service organizations. Sponsorship at a Toyota/Lexus dealer is not required to begin the program; however, award of manufacturer certifications tied are contingent on obtaining and sustaining sponsorship at a Toyota/Lexus dealer. Emphasis is placed upon the development of the necessary skills and knowledge required to function in Toyota/Lexus dealerships repairing and maintaining Toyota/Lexus model automobiles with electronic systems. This program includes operational theory, practical skills, and accepted shop procedures reinforced by intensive practice during cooperative work experience periods in the sponsoring dealership.
