Degree Plan Code: AAS.AT.SERV.TECH The purpose of this program is to prepare students for entry level employment as an automotive technician. This program reflects a building-block approach from simple to complex and includes theory, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of automobiles, including late model vehicles with electronic systems. Emphasis is placed on operational theory, practical skills and accepted shop procedures.

NOTE: Students enrolling in this program who plan to transfer to a four-year institution should consult an advisor or counselor regarding transfer requirements and the transferability of these courses to the four year institution of their choice. |
