  • Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by the college awarding the degree.

The Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) certificate program is designed to qualify students in the gas tungsten welding processes on either plate or pipe in accordance to the American Welding Society (AWS) or the American Petroleum Institute (API) welding procedures. These courses can be offered concurrently as CEU courses.

The certificate program provides learning experiences and/or capstone experiences in accordance to AWS D1.1 or API 1104 certifications.
