AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY/DIESEL AND HEAVY EQUIPMENT -- PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

  • Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
  • Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by the college awarding the degree.

The Preventive Maintenance Technician curriculum is designed to train students to become entry level maintenance technicians. Training is focused on maintenance procedures and diesel powered vehicle systems inspection and operations.
