Course Description: Covers the theory of projection, architectural symbols, relationship of views and measurements, plan and elevation views, including sections and details. The student will describe and read specifications as they are used with residential construction blueprints, including scope, quality, and the methods used in building a residential building. Drawings are used to find, size, shape, and location of residential building components. (3 Lec.)

Course Description: Designed to train the construction worker in the preparation of cost estimates for residential structures. Topics include mathematics, construction techniques, estimating cycle, data sources and use, checklists, and detailed unit quantity estimating methods.
