Course Description: A study of appropriate age (5 to 13 years) programs, including an overview of development, appropriate environments, materials and activities, and teaching/guidance techniques. This course is cross-listed as CDEC 2341. The student may register for either CDEC 2341 or CDEC 2441 but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec., 2 Lab.)

Prerequisite: Two previous CDEC/TECA courses.

Course Description: Career related activities encountered in the student's area of specialization are offered through a cooperative agreement between the college, employer, and student. Under supervision of the college and the employer, the student combines classroom learning with work experience. Directly related to a technical discipline, specific learning objectives guide the student through the cooperative experience. Cooperative education may be a paid or unpaid learning experience.
