Beginning Gymnastics
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a Core Curriculum course selected by the colleges of DCCCD.
Course Description: Beginning level skills in both men's and women's all-around gymnastic events are emphasized. Men's events include horizontal bar, pommel horse, rings, vaulting, floor exercise, and parallel bars. Women's events include floor exercise, vaulting, balance beam, and uneven parallel bars. Basic tumbling skills are also included. All appropriate events will be incorporated into a beginner's level routine. (3 Lab.)
