Fashion Collection Design
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor.
Course Description: Advanced concepts in designing a collection of marketable apparel. Instruction in developing a design work board for specific target market and selecting the most marketable ideas for the collection. Emphasis on resource development, fabric selection, estimating wholesale costs, and initial pattern and garment production. This course must be completed with a grade of "C" or better. (2 Lec., 2 Lab.)
