Administration of Programs for Children I
This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: DREA 0093 or English as a Second Language (ESOL) 0044 or have met the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standard in Reading. Corequisite/Concurrent: Students will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background search by the certification date as prescribed by the program and college. Failure to comply will result in the student being dropped from the course.
Course Description: A practical application of management procedures for early child care education programs, including a study of planning, operating, supervising, and evaluating programs. Topics on cover philosophy, types of programs, policies, fiscal management, regulations, staffing, evaluating, and communication. (3 Lec.)
