Student Identification

Each student will be asked to submit their social security (or tax identification) number on their application for admissions. If you do not have a social security or tax identification number, you will indicate that on the application as well.

Upon acceptance to the college, all students will be assigned a student identification number that will be used to identify you. This will be your permanent ID number which will be used at all of the colleges of the Dallas County Community College District.

Please be aware that if you do not have a social security or tax identification number, you will not be able to receive financial aid. Any records regarding your financial aid, including your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are connected with your social security or tax identification number not your student identification number.
