This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: Prior networking course, networking experience or instructor approval.
Instruction in security for network hardware, software, and data, including physical security; backup procedures; relevant tools; encryption; and protection from viruses. This course is cross-listed as ITSY 1342. The student may register for either ITSY 1342 or ITSY 1442, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)
