ITSC 1456 Solaris Shell Programming (SL) (4)

Prerequisite: ITSC 1429 or instructor approval.
Designed for Solaris certification. Provides students with the knowledge to read, write, and debug C shell scripts. Includes development of simple scripts to automate frequently executed sequences of commands. Also covers the use of conditional logic, user interaction, loops, and menus to enhance the productivity and effectiveness. Licensing/Certification Agency: Sun Microsystems. This course is cross-listed as ITSC 1356. The student may register for either ITSC 1356 or ITSC 1456, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
