Dallas County Promise
Congratulations on your decision to further your education!
Thank you for your interest in the Dallas County Promise scholarship. The Promise Pledge is now closed and will re-open for 2020-2021 high school graduates on October 1, 2020.
Students who completed their pledge have until March 15, 2021 to (1) submit an application to a Dallas County Community College through ApplyTexas.org or at DCCCD.edu/apply and (2) submit the FAFSA or TASFA and list the DCCCD colleges they are interested in. The deadline for Promise students to register for Dallas County Community College class registration is July 31. Please email email@example.com or visit DallasCountyPromise.org for more information.
The Dallas County Promise is a promise to cover your cost of classes (tuition) and pair you with a Success Coach for the next three years to help you navigate and succeed in your college experience. For more details on program specifics visit DallasCountyPromise.org .
All Promise Scholarship information will be sent to the email you list in your Pledge form. If your contact information changes, please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Dallas County 2020 graduates attending participating high schools complete their Promise Pledge by August 10. Students not completing their Pledge by August 10 will not be eligible for the Dallas Promise Scholarship or Rising Star Scholarship. Students must have attended a participating high school for their full senior year and qualify for in-state tuition.
- The Dallas County Promise Pledge is non-binding. Students completing the Promise Pledge are not committing to attend a Dallas County Community College or any other Promise Partner college. You may not be 100% sure where you want to attend college at this time. That is ok, go ahead and complete your Pledge to ensure you have the option of having your tuition covered by a Promise Partner college.
- This is a student Pledge form. Please do not use the parent/legal guardian's name for account creation. Each student account will require its own email address. If you are a parent or guardian submitting Pledges for more than one child, you must create a new user account using a different e-mail address for each student.
To be notified when the Dallas County Promise Pledge opens for 2020-2021 high school graduates, please send us your contact information.
