Course Description: This course is a continuation of functional keyboard skills, including harmonization, sight-reading, accompanying styles, improvisation, and technical exercises. It is designed for the music major preparing for the piano proficiency exam, but is also open to any interested student. Functional keyboard skills combined with the application of music theory principles at the piano (progressions, sight reading, harmonization and transposition) for beginning students: level III.
