Prerequisite Required: (1) Current BCLS (CPR) certification by the American Heart Association or equivalent, (2) Successful completion of EMSP 2160 or EMSP 2164, (3) Current certification by the Texas Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or higher.
Corequisite/Concurrent: Students will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background search and a drug screen as prescribed by the program and college. Failure to comply will result in the student being dropped from all EMSP courses.
Course Description: A summative experience covering comprehensive, assessment-based patient care management for the paramedic level. (2 Lab.)
