The Logistics and Manufacturing Technology AAS degree is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the growing fields of logistics, supply chain, advanced manufacturing, and warehousing. This degree will provide graduates with the skills required of the industry, enable graduates to seek immediate employment, meet labor market demands, and permit greater economic competitiveness.
Depending on the chosen specialization, students will learn about production and inventory management, warehouse management, transportation management, physical distribution, supply chain management, demand management, forecasting, procurement, sustainable logistics and international logistics. Students may also be prepared to earn the nationally recognized Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) logistics and production certification credentials:
- Certified Production Technician (CPT),
- Certified Logistics Technician (CLT), and
- Certified Logistic Associate (CLA)
